the book 'quando o corpo encontra a veste' (when the body meets the dress) shows two types of garments that exists/works only when registered by photography, demonstrating an illusionary fashion existence.
in the first section 'luz' (light) these dresses are an illusion that is captured by photography's long exposure while the second section 'nuvens' (clouds) is an attempt to merge the body, the dress and the environment as a single presence.
both experiments used photography as the medium to design in a backwards process.
the book was produced in 2007 as part of ba fashion design major project.
